How to turn photos into a PDF
- Take photos of your receipts or documents and drop them in. You can add many pages at once, in any order.
- Each page is cropped and straightened automatically. Use ⛶ to fine-tune the corners, ⟳ to rotate, and the arrows or drag and drop to reorder.
- Choose a look — Enhanced for clean color, Black & white for text-only documents — plus the page size.
- Press Create PDF. One file with all pages is saved to your device.
Tips for better scans
- Contrast
- Place the paper on a darker surface so its edges stand out. This makes automatic cropping far more reliable.
- Light
- Shoot in even light and avoid your own shadow. The tool removes soft shadows, but strong glare can hide text.
- Angle
- Hold the phone roughly parallel to the paper. Small tilts are corrected automatically.
- Receipts
- For thermal receipts, choose Black & white — faded print becomes much easier to read.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything — cropping, filters and PDF creation — happens in your browser, so receipts and personal documents stay on your device.
Can I combine several photos into one PDF?
Yes. Add as many photos as you like; each becomes one page in the order shown, and you can reorder them before creating the PDF.
Which page size should I choose?
A4 or Letter is best for printing and official submissions. Fit to image keeps the original shape, which suits long receipts.
Is the text in the PDF searchable?
Not yet — pages are saved as images. Text recognition (OCR) is planned as a future addition.
