Frequently asked questions
Why does text copied from a PDF have line breaks everywhere?
PDFs store each visual line separately, so copying adds a break at the end of every line. “Join broken lines” puts sentences back together while keeping real paragraph breaks.
Does removing duplicates keep the first line?
Yes. The first occurrence stays where it is and later copies are removed. Turn on “Ignore case” to treat “Apple” and “apple” as the same.
Is my text uploaded?
No. All cleaning happens in your browser, so private text never leaves your device.
What does full-width → half-width do?
It turns full-width letters, digits and spaces often used in Japanese and Chinese text (ABC123) into normal ones (ABC123).
